Lindsay Mason's visit

Lindsay's visit was a great success.  She was only here a short while before she had a crowd watching her at work.  The picture to the right is definitely an over-the-shoulder one as I couldn't get near enough to take a closer one!

She did a fantastic demonstration using Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks and Distress Inks, Martha Stewart punches, a wide range of stamps and Petaloo Flowers, sometimes all at once! There are several things I am planning on trying on my next day off, and if they turn out half as well as Lindsay's did I'll be a happy little crafter.

Lindsay is here!

She's here! Lindsay has just finished setting up and is raring to go.

She has a fantastic amount of stuff with her and has loads of samples for people to look at.
Alcohol inks, Distress Inks, Martha Stewart punches, Marvey LePlume pens and so much more, so why not pop in and see an expert at work?

No rest for the wicked!

The title says it all!

Working late tonight to get everything ready for Lindsay Mason's Demo Day tomorrow.  Been here since about nine this morning and it'll be after nine tonight before we leave.  Who says it's easy having your own business?

Be worth it though when Lindsay is here. I always enjoy watching her work and I haven't seen her since we were at Birmingham in March. I just hope I won't be the only one watching her tomorrow!

Where else to find us

You can now also find us on Facebook and Twitter.  Details are on our Blogspot

What a fun day!

I had a lovely fun day yesterday, playing with all the new Bo Bunny papers.  A morning spent crafting, trying to decide which papers to use, then a drive down to the Prom at Arbroath in the afternoon to enjoy some sun. Such a hectic jet-set lifestyle I lead!

Sometimes it's so difficult!

Sometimes it's so difficult when a delivery comes in. I have to check that everything is there, but on looking through it, all I want to do is sit and have a play with all the new stuff!

The latest thing is Bo Bunny. We now have the Sophia and Jazmyn limited edition papers and embellishments and they are lovely.  There is also the Double Dot range of papers with several new colours having been added.

It's my 'Day Off' tomorrow, but I always seem to end up doing paperwork. This time though, I am planning a different type of paperwork. Now where did I put my paper trimmer .... ?

7 Days and Counting!

Only 7 days till Lindsay Mason is here!  Everything is nearly ready and I'm getting quite excited about her visit.

I always enjoy her demonstrations, and make a point of visiting whatever stand she is working on when I am at any of the shows.

Among the products she will be demonstrating are Alcohol Inks, Distress Inks, Martha Stewart punches, Petaloo flowers and her own lovely range of stamps, so why not pop in and see a master at work.

Lindsay will be here from around 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., there's no need to book and it's free!

It's all changed!

Now that it is Spring, we've had a bit of a Spring Clean and rearranged the shop.

As I type our Saturday girl, Shannon, is busy dusting while trying to avoid any stray spiders. ( You've guessed right, she doesn't like them at all! )  Once everything is tidied up we'll be ready for new stock which is due in the next couple of weeks or so.

It also means that we will have plenty of room for Lindsay Mason's Demonstration Day which is only 2 weeks away.  Her demos are always very popular so it helps to have plenty of room for people to see her demonstrating her skills.

For those who aren't so familiar with Lindsay's work you can find her blog here .

Decopatch

I've been trying one of the new Decopatch kits that we are stocking now and it is so relaxing, not to mention great fun.  Suitable for all ages over 3, but any younger probably won't be reading this!

The kits come with everything needed and there's enough materials included to decorate the box it all comes in too.  There are samples to see now, so come along and have a look.
