It's all changed!

Now that it is Spring, we've had a bit of a Spring Clean and rearranged the shop.

As I type our Saturday girl, Shannon, is busy dusting while trying to avoid any stray spiders. ( You've guessed right, she doesn't like them at all! )  Once everything is tidied up we'll be ready for new stock which is due in the next couple of weeks or so.

It also means that we will have plenty of room for Lindsay Mason's Demonstration Day which is only 2 weeks away.  Her demos are always very popular so it helps to have plenty of room for people to see her demonstrating her skills.

For those who aren't so familiar with Lindsay's work you can find her blog here .

Decopatch

I've been trying one of the new Decopatch kits that we are stocking now and it is so relaxing, not to mention great fun.  Suitable for all ages over 3, but any younger probably won't be reading this!

The kits come with everything needed and there's enough materials included to decorate the box it all comes in too.  There are samples to see now, so come along and have a look.

Easter Sunday

Here I sit, all alone, not even a chocolate egg for company! It seems not even crafters like to go shopping on Easter Sunday.

Hello to all that are reading my blog. I would like to thank everyone who gave up the evening on Thursday 19th November to help us raise money to send boxes of goodies for Christmas to our troops who will be away at Christmas. We raised a total of £64.00 from door admissions, card sales and generous donations from those that couldn't attend. So thank you to all.

November 4th 2009 News

First of all I would like to thank all of you that have continued to support the shop over this credit crunch. We have been fighting our way through it, keeping our heads above water, even when we have gone under a couple of times.

Thanks to our landlord and the bank we have just signed another lease for a further year, so despite rumours we are not closing for the foreseeable future, we have made a few changes to the shop, new shelves in the front of the shop, this helps reduce the cold from the class. We also have all your old favourites and new products from stamps to beads. We have changed the day we have classes to a Saturday and at the moment we are going back to basics with Try Me classes. I will be posting a new class list for you this week as I am still in the middle of putting the list together.

What's Happening in the run up to Christmas.

On November 19th we will be holding a Christmas Shopping night and will not only have our goodies to sell, we will have a range of candles and accessories from Candle Light. The evening will start at 6.30 pm and finish at around 8.30 pm, we also be holding a raffle for funds to send Christmas gift boxes to our RAF guys out in Afghanistan, there will also be refreshments. It should be a fun evening so come along and join us.

Thank you for your business.

Louise
